Melanie Theiss’ father-in-law, Butch Theiss, was diagnosed January 2nd with Pancreatic Cancer. He is in assisted living and receiving chemotherapy through infusion. Pray that his body will tolerate the chemo and it will respond positively. Also pray that he will get comfortable and enjoy his new living arrangements. Pray peace and joy over Melanie and her husband as they take care of him.
Meredith and Mark McLendon are in Florida with her mom, Linda. Pray for the Lord to continue blessing this family with His protection and presence. God is so good to provide them with this time together. Her mom is thanking the Lord for each breath she has and knows there will come a time when there is no more breaths to breathe. Until then she will wait upon God and be obedient.
Steve Price saw his Stem Cell Transplant doctor yesterday. He wants to study the tissue taken from Steve’s neck to figure out the source of this cancer. The results of his study will direct the treatment. God is keeping us connected to Dr. Srour. Pray with us that he will be drawn to the
Lord’s voice. He acknowledges that Steve is a miracle and he graciously accepts Steve’s prayers.
Amy Helmke....Pray for her friends, The Shorts, who lost their only child last week by taking his own life. Amy is flying to Indianapolis, IN to attend the service and will fly back the same day. Pray for Amy to have safe travels and soothing words. Pray for strength and comfort from the Lord for all of them.
